EVPS Division and Regional Athletics Carnivals
DIVISION
On Tuesday the 5th of September, EVPS took a large group of athletes to the Division Athletic Carnival. These students had all gained entry through placing first or second at the District Athletics.
The day went extremely well with all our athletes performing great with many processing to the next level of competition. All and all we received 8 first place ribbons and 7 second place ribbons.
REGIONAL
EVPS had 16 students attending which included 3 relay teams.
The team set off for an even bigger day at Meadowglen Stadium on the Wednesday the 11th of October.
It was a hot and sunny 28 degree day and with many schools from all of Melbourne northern metro qualifying, the standard of each race/event was extremely competitive.
Our students performed very well, with the boys 11yr old relay team and girls 12/13 year old relay teams placing second overall and qualifying for the State Championships in November.
Congratulations to Skyla (6MP) and Eliel (6SB) who also both qualified for individual events.
