Stage 5 French Class visit Stage 2

At the end of last term, students in our Stage 5 French elective had the pleasure of visiting students in Years 3 and 4 in our Junior School.

For our most recent assessment, we were tasked with writing a storybook in French. The stories were crafted in class with the help of the wonderful Ms Mion, who also organised the visit to the Junior School. After hours of practice, we ventured down Coorah hill and presented our stories to the eager Stage 2!

The stories were met with wide eyes and the Stage 2’s were very excited to share all the French they had learnt with Madame O’Hara. We hope they also added some new words to their French vocabulary! Speaking in front of a class was an extremely valuable experience, especially for those of us who plan to continue French into Stage 6.

Thank you to Mr Carr and Ms Mion for providing us with this rewarding learning opportunity!
