Integrated Studies

We are continuing our learning about connections through generations and this week's focus was on the importance of respecting places of significance to cultures and people. For example, the rock paintings at Walga Rock, as well as the importance of making good choices, impulse control and respecting these special places for generations past, present and future. Students discussed how we should behave in a range of social settings and presented these ideas to the class. 

Grade 2 Sleep In

We are getting SO excited for our 'Grade 2 Sleep' In on Friday night and will share lots of photos in the next newsletter. 

Reminder to our families:

'Grade 2 Sleep In' begins at 5 pm on Friday and students need to be picked up by 9 am Saturday

Literacy

We are continuing to work on our persuasive texts. Students worked with excellent focus to create a persuasive piece arguing that they should be giving some free time after lunch, some of the persuasive texts were very compelling!  

Congratulations to Isabel who has completed an incredible 200 nights home reading this year!
