3/4 Melbourne Museum

Yay it was finally Friday the 27th of October and all the 3/4s at Macedon PS were going to Melbourne Museum. We saw bugs, dinosaurs, and Lego, it was amazing! We couldn’t wait to see everything.

As soon as we got off the bus, we had brain food and snack. Then we headed off to the dinos. When I was looking for my dinosaur, Gallimimus. I also found my friend Nina from Coburg (well, she found me anyway).

Next, we looked at the Triceratops display, it had its own exhibit because it is a 98% real skeleton. It was 2 meters tall, 8 meters long and 67 million years old. It was found in Montana, USA. It was really cool!

At last, it was time for us to look at the Lego relic exhibit. There was a scavenger hunt, you had to find stuff in all 12 displays. The displays were called: Trashtopia, Storyteller’s nook, Timepunk’s tower, Cosmic arcade, Teraburbia, 88th Street, NWCU, Cathode studios, Bleach beach, Cryolife resort, Studz diner and Beetlesville. Trashtopia was in a bunch of old bins. Storyteller’s nook was in an old bookshelf. Timepunk’s tower was in a Grandfather clock. Cosmic arcade was in old arcade games. Teraburbia was in like an old machine thingy. 88th Street was in an old piano. NWCU was in an old ATM. Cathode studios was in a bunch of old fashioned TVs. Bleach beach was in a broken jet ski. Cryolife resort was in an old Juke box. Beetlesville was in a really old car.

My favourite relic was 88th Street because it had lots of small details on everything, and it had lots of minifigures in it.

I would really like to go back to the Relic exhibition with my family. It was an amazing experience, I loved it.
