Principal's Report

Dear parents,

Thank you to those who have messaged today and wished me well with my appointment at Gisborne Primary School for 2024.  I am humbled and can share that there will be some sadness when I say goodbye to this amazing community.  The school is in fantastic hands, and I trust that you will continue to achieve amazing things.

There is plenty to keep me busy before I leave so it will business as usual until the end of the year.  We have an action packed and exciting end to the term planned out with the fete, end of year celebrations for all classes and our year six graduation.

Working Bee – Thank you!

On Saturday morning we had our final working bee for the year.  Thank you to everyone who made it down, we had a great turn out and achieved a lot.  The school is looking fantastic for the fete on the 12th of November.

Gisborne Community Care Food Bank – October Donation Drive

Thank you very much to everyone who has brought in food donations for the food bank.  I have spoken to Wally and he will be coming to pick up the donations on Friday the 3rd of November.

School Fete

It will be a fun filled day for all the students and families.  If you can spare some time in the lead up or on the day, please contact the school and we will connect you with the fete committee.  The more helpers we get with preparation and on the day, the easier things will run.

Cirriculum Day and Melbourne Cup Holiday

Please be reminded that this Monday the 6th of November is a student free cirriculum day and Tuesday the 7th is a student free day/public holiday for the Melbourne Melbourne Cup. I hope you enjoy the extra long weekend.

Kind regards and Sampai jumpa (until next time),

Matt
