FAIR FOR FAIRNESS DAY

On Monday,  the Mini Vinnies ran the 'Fair for Fairness Day' in order to raise money for children in the Philippines for an organisation called Bahay Tulyan. It helps support children that are in danger and are in desperate need. Some of the fun activities that they did in order to raise money were: A coin toss game, scavenger hunt, ring toss and pin the tail on the unicorn.

Students raised $1115.55

The reason why they chose this cause was because some of our 5/6 Mini Vinnies attended a Kids View conference and learnt about this cause and it helped to reinforce how very lucky we are living in Australia.

The students also did some dancing with Kinect2Dance dance company.

From the Mini Vinnies:

I learned that we can help. It inspired me to do everything

I can to make the world a better place. I learned

that I am so very rich and that in everything I do,

I can really make a difference. We can do so much more

than we think we can. This conference

inspired me to try and do something about poverty.

WINNERS ARE GRINNERS!

Thankyou to our SJV community for supporting this important cause.
