Principal Post

Dear Families,

From a school perspective, it has been a very busy term!  100 Days of School for our Foundation students, Year 4&6 Camps, Senior Gala Days and Distict and Divison Athletics, Feast Day celebrations, our P&F Bunnings BBQ, Real Life Family sessions, Yr1-6 Swimming, Book Week, Fathers Day Stall and Breakfast, School Concert, Incursions & Excursions, Class Masses and Social Justice activities and events- just to name a few!

Students gain so much and learn from all these activities and events alongside purposeful learning in Literacy, Numeracy and Inquiry !  So may we continue to enjoy the final week with our Footy Colour & Hot Dog Day this Friday to wrap it all up before a well earned holiday for the students!

My sincere thanks to our dedicated staff for all their hard work and most importantly the care that they show all our students.

It is so important that we partner well with parents/ carers in the best interests of our students and to that end I thank you all for the ongoing support you  provide your children and our school.

To all our footy followers, I hope you enjoy the September festivities.... hope your team gets to hold the cup aloft!!

Fair For Fairness Day

As part of focus on "putting our Faith into Action",  our very enthusiastic Mini Vinnie Team ran a most successful fair for Fairness Day raising awareness and funds for the Phillipines. Please read the report and view the photo gallery in this newsletter edition.

Connor's Run

It was a great to have a small team under the St John Vianney's school banner to run/ walk last Sunday to raise money for the  Robert Connor Dawes Foundation.  To date, SJV has raised $2000 to  support the brave and awesome kids fighting brain cancer and to fund research  that will hopefully bring a cure  to paediatric brain cancer!

Our thanks to Han Le our parent liaison for all her brilliant work!

Donations are still open until the end of September!

MACSSIS Survey  - by FRIDAY!

WE NEED & VALUE YOUR FEEDBACK

Completing the survey helps our school reflect on what is going well and areas for improvement. It helps us make informed decisions for the future. This is important and will assist us as we undertake an Independent School Review in 2024.
