Learning about Treaty, Truth and Voice in Victoria

The First Peoples' Assembly  of Victoria visited NHS students for a lunchtime presentation. We had a huge crowd of students turn up, wanting to find out what the First Peoples' Assembly is and what they have been able to achieve in Victoria so far. 

Jarvis Atkinson, proud Yorta Yorta man, discussed Treaty, Truth and Voice. Engagement levels were high. Jarvis was also kind enough to hand out t-shirts, stickers and water bottles, so students could show off their support. 

We thank Jarvis and hope to continue these conversations and knowledge sharing into the future.
