Principal's Report

What glorious weather we have had to end the term. We are looking forward to celebrating with footy/sports colours day tomorrow (and a special hot dog lunch). We will have an end of term assembly at 9am in the assembly area. Dismissal time tomorrow is 2:20pm.

Last Friday (8th September) we were forced to cancel our professional learning day due to the severe weather. We had a few schools coming together at Deakin University (approx 100 people), however due to Deakin shutting down for the day (OHS requirements), we were unable to proceed. The presenter was very kind in offering us an alternative date – Thursday 23rd November, which school council have approved as an extra Curriculum Day under unforeseeable circumstances. Theircare will be available on this day.

We are having an Events Committee Meeting on Tuesday 3rd October 9am in the staff room. We would love to have parents come along and help organise the upcoming election day BBQ and discuss our end of year whole school event on the 30th November. 

And a reminder to RSVP to our Parent Forum, to be held on Tuesday 10th October. We are looking forward to celebrating 2023 with you all and giving you an opportunity for feedback in shaping next years plans. Please see RSVP link will be published on the first day back after the holidays.
