Diocesan Gala Day

On Friday 15th September, 100 students from years 3-6 travelled to Tamworth to participate in the Armidale Diocesan Gala Day in Soccer and Netball.

It was a great day with an incredible 978 students from around the region participating.

All of our teams did an amazing job and had fun while learning how to improve their skills and game play.

We had one of our senior soccer teams make the final and one of our senior netball teams just missed out on making the final which is a fantastic achievement against so many teams.

A massive thank you to our parent volunteers who coached a team on the day, we wouldn't have been able to have so many students participate without your help.

Well done to everyone who participated and represented St Xavier's with pride, the sportsmanship on and off the field was great to see.
