Cultural learnings

Weekend activities at the Boarding House include indoor and outdoor games. This week we extended our understanding of Asian culture with a game of Mah-jong, celebrating the moon cake festival and a tea ceremony. Mr  Gong led our Friday night activities with staff from senior school visiting for a Chinese dinner and games night. The smiles and laughs from all were a hit, especially from Brian Shi, Frank Xu, Will Merrin and Katie Richardson.

Extending our Lifeskills

It is not all too often we explicitly sit down and learn some of the finer skills of life. Life skills are still relevant and essential today, even in the world of AI and technology. Last weekend MOD Nat Povey guided our girls through some knitting; a skill that most will testify as an old art! Not for Nat and her girls though, as they enjoyed some down time together knitting away.
