Christmas Cakes

A huge thank you to the many volunteers who gave their time this week in the epic bake of 500 cakes! In particular, I'd like to thank our boarding parents who travelled to assist us. 

The cakes will be available on Monday from the Senior and Junior Campus Receptions, the Roxburgh Cafe and Tosca Browns Cafe. A huge thank you to the team at Baker’s Delight who baked them all for us and on a personal note, made my car smell amazing as we transported them back to the school for packaging.

Open Garden

Many of our parents have  been working behind the scenes busily preparing an event to showcase the talented students of our school and provide the greater community with a wonderful day out in two of the Western District’s most picturesque gardens. 

Tickets are on sale now and we are so looking forward to this wonderful day, made possible by David Wyner of Arrandoovong and Harry and Min Youngman of Ardgarten.

Tickets continue to sell  and we have three wonderful weekend accommodation prizes on offer, so please support our fundraising by purchasing tickets from front Reception at the Junior and Senior Campus or emailing us if you would like to purchase online at paf@hamiltoncollege.vic.edu.au . 

A most needed weekend away is on offer, but even better it comes with dinner provided at the best local restaurant and wine to take with you! The raffle will be drawn at our Open Garden on 29 October, tickets are $5 each and we thank our most generous contributors who have donated these prizes for our fundraising ventures. 

Please if anyone has raffle books at home with unsold tickets could you please return these to Natalie Povey by the end of the week, so that we may re-distribute these to be sold elsewhere.

Second Hand Uniforms

Please contact Zoe Price to make an appointment on 0400 0175 65 to view the many good quality, second-hand uniforms on offer. 

Zoe will be opening the shop on Wednesdays between 5:30 and 6:30 pm. 

Senior Campus Speech Day

The Parent’s and Friends’ will be hosting a small afternoon tea for guests attending speech day afterwards in the Tim Murray Room. If anyone would like to be involved for half an hour or so to serve, or are able to provide a slice, please let us know and we would be most grateful for your time. 

Next meeting

Our next Parents’ and Friends’ meeting will be held on 17 October and we welcome anyone who would like to join us in person or via teams from 6:30pm onwards. Please email us and we can provide the link.
