Principal's Message

St Luke's... "nurturing faith filled, curious children to become creative contributors and innovative problem solvers for a changing world."

Dear Parents,

At St. Luke's, we've been dedicated to enhancing communication and fostering greater parental involvement within our school community. We're thrilled to have received valuable feedback from parents regarding these initiatives, and we sincerely thank you those parents for taking the time out to give us positive feedback.

We wholeheartedly embrace feedback from parents, recognising its essential role in our continuous improvement. Just as we encourage our students to learn and grow, feedback is the compass guiding our progress. We value not only the positive comments but also your questions and critiques. These insights help us better understand our principles, identify areas for enhancement, and acknowledge that, like everyone, we may occasionally make mistakes. Your input is invaluable in our shared journey toward excellence.

Recently, Catholic Education Parramatta Diocese has released a set of principles for working with families.  This document, available on the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD) website, is the outcome of collaboration between system leaders, schools, and parents/carers. It outlines the responsibilities of parents, carers, educators and other staff in ensuring that everyone feels welcomed and valued in CSPD schools.

As we look forward to the last week of school of term 3, the end of this term marks a year of my time as Principal of St. Lukes, the graduation of our first HSC Class, and the end of a 7 year long building program.

Looking ahead to the upcoming term, we're excited to return to St. Luke's with a fully completed school campus. This now encompasses eight hectares of land with five buildings that feature cutting-edge practical spaces and inviting classrooms, bringing together a K-12 student cohort. This achievement reflects the collective effort and vision of our whole school community.

I wish you all a safe and relaxing holiday period

Mrs Bauer
