School Review

Wheelers Hill Primary School begins its review process next week. A school review assesses the school's progress over the last four years, consults with all stakeholders in the school community, and then makes recommendations for future directions and growth of the school.

Part of the review involves consulting with parents. Therefore there will be a parent forum next Thursday 26th October at 9:15am in the school staff room if you wish to take part. It should go for around 45 minutes. The reviewer will talk to you about you views and ideas about the school.

If you wish to take part (places are limited) please email me at by next Wednesday 25th October.

Class Placement Requests

Thank you to those parents who have provided a class placement request for 2024. These will be passed onto the classroom teachers who will begin the process of creating the classes for 2024. Students and parents will find out who is in their class, and their teacher for 2024 on the whole school transition day which is on TUESDAY 12th December.

Prep Enrolment 2024

We still have a few places for prep next year available (as a few families has moved away from the school). If you have any friends or family that are interested in enrolling in prep next year, please contact the office and fill in a application form via the website.

Student Exits

We are at that time of the year where we are in the process of planning for 2024. We know that some families unfortunately won’t be with us next year, due to moving to a new house or area etc. If that includes your family, we are sorry to see you leave our community. Please ensure that you call the school on 9561 3457 or email wheelers.hill.ps@education.vic.gov.au to inform us of your plans at your earliest convenience. This supports us with our planning for next year. We thank you for your support and understanding.
