The Great Lee Street Fete Meeting- Monday 2 October at 6pm

As we communicated in our last update, the 2024 Great Lee Street Fete is scheduled for Sunday 3 March.  Planning is afoot to recreate the wonderful day we all had at this year’s fete! We need many hands to make this work again! We’d love to see as many volunteers as we can at the kick off fete meeting on Monday 2 October at 6pm, Wine Room Corner Store (50 Princes St, North Carlton). In particular, if you have a business or specific skills in food and beverage, logistics or event planning, we’d love to hear from you!

School Working Bee - Sunday 8 October

On Sunday October 8th from 10am to 2pm, we are having our annual CNPS Working Bee. We need as many people as possible to help out, so ask your uncles, aunties, neighbours, friends and pets!

If you have younger kids who need extra supervision, or just a quiet space to hang, a member of staff will be stationed in the library.

We have compiled a list of jobs that need doing around the school on the day (thanks to Tony Sun for helping with the list).

  • Tidying up playgrounds by sweeping tanbark back in
  • Sweeping pathways
  • Tidying up garden bed edges around the school
  • Weeding of the Bagung Magali garden beds (the ones in front of the flagpoles)
  • Sweeping / blowing the ground around the Bagung Magali garden beds
  • Weed removal around the base of Karawun (cream building) and Manerlong (red building)
  • General maintenance of decks and ramps (sweeping and ensuring nails are flush)

Kind regards,

Ben
