CANTEEN NEWS
Hi Parents and students,
Just thought I’d write a quick note just to remind everyone of some housekeeping for the canteen.
Canteen is open every Tuesday for lunch orders and over the counter sales. Online orders need to be placed by 10pm the night before. You can register for online ordering by visiting quickcliq.com.au. Alternatively, the students can place a paper bag order with cash in their classroom lunch order tub first thing on Tuesday morning.
I would also like to remind students not to be buying items for other students. It can be a problem if the friend they are sharing with has an allergy that they may not be aware of, and I would encourage parents to talk to their child about this. I am also noticing that some of the children are possibly bringing some of their savings to school, if I do notice they have more than usual I allow them to buy a couple of things or spend $2 but I would ask if you could just check with them on Tuesday morning to ensure they haven’t brought too much cash to school. 😊 I would hate for them to lose it.
I’m sure most of you have heard of the new product ‘ZINGS’ that are currently available, they are like a zooper dooper but with a little more zing! They sell for $1 each. The children are excited about them; I now just have to encourage them to put the wrappers in the bin so I can keep selling them!
Lastly before I sign off, I am away for a few weeks in June however my daughter Katy will be running the canteen in my absence so it will be business as usual! Well hopefully anyway!
Enjoy the rest of Term 2, and let’s hope it doesn’t get too cold but we get some rain for the farmers.

You can also send your orders on Tuesday morning via your child's classroom. Please place your order in a brown paper bag with your child's name, grade, order total and amount enclosed. 10c for brown paper bag if one is not supplied.
