Sienna M. - 1/2W

This award is presented to Sienna for the outstanding effort that she has displayed in Writing. Sienna has worked hard to apply her knowledge of the Write2Read codes to spell new words, and is developing her confidence when writing complete, simple sentences using capital letters and full stops. She is also writing more within the allocated time. Sienna, I am so proud of the effort you’ve been putting in this term. I’m so proud to be your teacher this year!

Amir S. - 5/6B

The first Superstar Award for Term 2 goes to Amir for his outstanding positive attitude in class. Amir consistently puts his hand up to answer questions, gets straight to work, and is regularly one of the first to finish — often producing work of an exceptional standard. He is a perfect example of what it means to follow the Scoresby Super 10 in every way. Well done, Amir!

Isabella F. - 5/6C

This award goes to Izzy for the fantastic effort she has been putting into learning the Write 2 Read codes. Izzy has remained focused and displayed persistence when practising the codes and has made wonderful progress. Well done Izzy - we are very proud of you!

This award goes to Alyssa for her fantastic contributions and effort during class. You have demonstrated the HEART value of Excellence by paying close attention to discussions and being confident to contribute your valued ideas. Gracie L. - Science

This award goes to Gracie for her fantastic understanding about matter and the clear explanation she was able to give the class about what matter is. Gracie was also able to provide a detailed description of each state of matter including an explanation of the particles' structure and behaviour in each state.  Well done Gracie.

Lilly S. - Physical Education

This award goes to Lilly for the determination she showed in Cross Country. It has been fantastic to see Lilly attending Running Club each week to develop her fitness, and she showed great perseverance today to finish our Cross Country. Well done Lilly!

Hannah D. - Visual Arts

This award goes to Hannah for her willingness to experiment with new techniques in Visual Arts. Hannah practised painting a variety of different coloured jellyfish with watercolours before making her final art piece. What a superb result Hannah! Your effort and exploration resulted in a beautiful painting.
