Mother's Day Stall and Raffle

We held a very successful Mother's Day stall last Friday, and it was lovely to see the children excitedly choosing gifts for their mums, grandmas and special people.

We cannot run these events for the students without the help of many hands. Thank you to the following parents for their assistance with the Mother's Day stall: Kristy Davies, Caitlin Clarke, Kristy Brown, Natasha Sadler, Christy Andrews, Ana Amado, Leanne Bouchereau, Ruth Liew, Mei Chan, Belinda Reynen, Peter Willmott, Rebecca Craven and Peta Edmonds.

We would also like to thank Marlene (grandma of Oscar 5/6C) for donating the beautiful hand-made bookmarks to the stall, and Ella Gardini's family for donating the delightful candle packs for the raffle.

Open Night Sausage Sizzle

Thank you to Erin Parkin and Natasha Sadler for, once again, taking to the bbq with such expertise for our Open Night sausage sizzle. Many families enjoyed a sausage in bread as part of the Open Night activities. Thank you chefs!

Many thanks also to Tina and Mei for their work in serving the hungry hordes. It's a big job and we couldn't do it without you!

Student Disco

Our next event for the students is a disco next Friday 23rd May in the Hall. Notices with details and permission/payment went home this week with students. The cost is $6.00 per student and includes entry to the disco, 1 glow stick, and a packet of either plain chips or popcorn; water will be provided.

Permission forms and payment must be returned to school by Tuesday 20th May.

Upcoming Events

Beyond the Student Disco, our fundraiser for Term 2 is a Natural Confectionary Lollies drive later in the term. Keep a look-out for information about this event.

For Term 3 we will be holding our annual Father's Day stall and raffle, and our BIG event for 2025 - we are very excited to announce - is a Trivia Night in Term 4. There will be lots of information sent out about this from Term 3, so make sure you check Compass and the newsletter so you don't miss out on the fun!

Next Meeting

The next PFA meeting will be held on Thursday 19th June at 7.00pm, in the Staffroom.

We have some fun things planned for this year and would welcome help from parents in our community, so please feel free to come along and join us. New members are always welcome!
