Dance Aerobics

Last Sunday, 2 June our Level 5 Dance Aerobics team competed in the Victorian State competition at Rowville Secondary College.

The team, composed of 8 Level 5 students, had been working extremely hard throughout the year to perfect their routine with guidance from their coaches Mrs Wyllie and Ms Daskalakis.

The team gave it their all for their 2 minute routine and came away with the GOLD medal at the state. STATE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!

Congratulations to Aanya L, Aleena A, Claudia K, Hudson R, Alexis Z, Ava V, Azariyah A and Yuna K for your hard work over the last couple of months that resulted in the gold medal.  

Exciting times ahead as the team has been invited to compete at the National Competition in Adelaide later in August. More training and perfecting to come as they strive for greatness.

Thank you to Ms Daskalakis and Mrs Wyllie for the effort, time and dedication they have put into training this team. The parents and school community are all extremely grateful and proud of what the kids have achieved.

Congratulations to both Cruz H 2P and Axl H FG who both received the Auskick Star of the Week award for their age group last week.

Both students just joined this season and were so proud of themselves.
