Division Cross Country:

Congratulations to our squad of 24 who competed in the Division Cross Country last Friday at Ballarat High School.  It was a terrific day and our runners did an absolutely terrific job.  There was super fast competition in every event and Buninyong students performed extremely well.

A special congratulations to those who have qualified to go through to Regional Cross Country in Warrnambool on 27 May.

A big thank you to Linda, Lyndal, Shona and Susie who volunteered their time to support our group and fulfill our event obligations.  Your time, effort and support is very much appreciated.  Thank you also to the family and friends who were able to come down and support our runners at various points throughout the day.

Afterschool Netball:

Our two afterschool netball teams are into their third week of competition.  Already we have seen a huge improvement in both teams and they are learning to work together wonderfully.  Our Grade 3/4 team are relatively new to the sport and are doing a terrific job in understanding the rules and putting points on the board. Our Grade 5/6 team are a mix of regulars and newbies who are bonding together wonderfully each week to support each other and improve their game.  Wishing them all the best as they continue the competition.

Thank you to Meg, Mel and Debbie for taking the time out to coach and train the teams.

Division AFL:

Wishing our two AFL teams all the best in their Division competition next week.  We look forward to hearing how you all go.

P.E. Shoes Reminder:

A reminder that students need to bring clean, dry running shoes to P.E. each session.  This is to ensure the safety of the students as well as the condition of the gym.  Please bring them to school in your bags and carry them to P.E. where we will change into them.

Thank you.
