Interschool Sports
I would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the interschool cross country and orienteering event in week 5, well done. A special mention to Tommy Gerich who won his age group under 9 boys race. A few other great results include Kaden Rowling and Madeline Aila who came 4th for the under 12 boys and girls race. Thank you to all the staff and volunteers who made the day safe enjoyable and successful.
Also for interschool sports the hockey round robin event was held on Friday 17th of May in week 5 seeing the Steiner Swifts perform exceptionally well winning 1st and 2nd place. Congratulations to the Class 5 and 6 students. Braitling represented with 2 teams, Ross Park had 3 teams, Living Waters with 2 teams and Sadadeen with 1 team. It was a wonderful competition and Steiner won the day. Students received advice and information about hockey in Alice from two past Australian representatives. Thank you to all the Alice and NT hockey representatives and staff and volunteers for holding a wonderful event.
