Play Preparation
The second half of a very busy term is upon us! Play preparations are in full swing. This play is quite ambitious, and many students could benefit from having someone at home to run lines with. Thank you for your support with this. We are also just one week away from camp! Final details will be sent out next week. We have also begun to experiment with the fire sticks. Lots of exciting things happening!
The Roman Markets were a tremendous success. Having the opportunity to put on this event is not just about the event itself. Students are developing life skills such as developing an idea, coming up with the list of materials needed, working out pricing, and then executing their plans. On the day of the markets, students are working on customer service, being responsible, focusing on a dedicated task to completion, money skills, mental maths, and time management. All of these skills help to build awareness, a sense of community, and common sense - all skills beneficial for life. What a beautiful way to learn!
