Principal's Report

DINA FIECK

The Autumn Fair would not be possible without the generosity and hard work of our incredible volunteers. Parents, teachers, and friends of the school have come together, dedicating countless hours to planning, crafting, and organising. Your contributions – whether it be through baking, setting up stalls, or simply spreading the word – are invaluable. It is your selfless commitment that breathes life into this event and makes it a resounding success each year.

In today’s fast-paced world, it is more important than ever to celebrate childhood and our school’s unique place within the community. The Autumn Fair provides a space for children to explore, play, and connect with their peers in a joyful and meaningful way. It reminds us of the simple joys and the wonder of discovery that are at the heart of childhood. These moments of shared laughter and connection are vital for their development and well-being.

Moreover, the Fair serves as a powerful reminder of our connection to this special place we call home. Mparntwe / Alice Springs, with its rich First Nations culture and stunning natural beauty, is more than just a backdrop to our lives – it is a vibrant community that shapes and supports us. Celebrating together reinforces our ties to this place and to each other, fostering a sense of belonging and mutual support.

As we come together tomorrow, let us celebrate not only the fruits of our labour but also the spirit of togetherness that makes our school community so special. Thank you for your unwavering support and dedication. I look forward to seeing you all at the Fair and sharing in the joy and warmth of this wonderful event.

Regards,

Dina
