Brianna- It was fun because one of the activities got me out of my comfort zone. I was scared to let go and fall off the edge on the flying fox, but I did it! It was a big adventure. We went to the beach for dinner and I found an oyster shell.

Taster Day

On Friday 3rd May our Year 4 students and some of our Year 5 students who hadn't had the opportunity before, were invited to attend the annual taster day at Mater Christi and   St Jospeh's College. This gave them an opportunity to experience a morning at Secondary School and a taste for the future. Many thanks to our local Catholic Secondary Schools for inviting us.

Mater Christi

Poppy- I really enjoyed making slime and I loved the scavenger hunt because it was fun. We had to find the classrooms and cross them off the sheet. At the end of the day we got a show bag and it had highlighters, a booklet, putty and a down ball.

St Joseph's

Rory- I really loved seeing boys work well at St Joseph’s. They have great equipment and I enjoyed going to the science lab where we watched the teacher make elephant toothpaste. The sport after recess was fun too and we played octopus.

Roman- It was very different to primary school. The science labs were insanely cool and I enjoyed looking in the microscopes to discover different materials.
