Child safety and wellbeing at Auburn South Primary School : information for families and the school community

Auburn South Primary School is committed to providing an environment where students are safe and feel safe.

Our child safety framework includes policies, codes and procedures that explain how we support and maintain the safety and wellbeing of our students and protect them from harm. These documents are available on our website: Policies, Plans & Reports - Auburn South Primary School

We are also committed to continuous improvement of our child safety framework. We are currently reviewing our child safety policies and practices to ensure they are up-to-date and effective.

Our students and families are important partners in this process. We welcome your feedback or ideas on ways we can improve our approach to child safety and wellbeing

If you have any suggestions or comments, please contact Auburn South Primary School   on 03 9882 2140 or at auburn.south.ps@education.vic.gov.au

Centennial Tour

Auburn South hosted a school tour last week that was attended by over 35 past students to help celebrate the school's centennial year.

The feedback was so positive and the past students loved coming and having a look around the modern version of ASPS.

'Thanks so much for the tour and lovely morning tea today.

All the people I spoke to had a lovely time'

'I just want to thank the staff and students for welcoming all those present at the school tour this morning.

We really enjoyed the tour of our old school, with alot of improvements and changes for the better. Oh, and we love the cookbook, it's brilliant!

Lots of memories were stirred, so thankyou'

'I am writing to pass on our thanks for the Centennial tour and opportunity to catch up with old friends last Tuesday.

We really enjoyed the morning with lots of memories flooding back from the 1960’s!

I most enjoyed the interaction with the kids during the question and answer time – they were so interested in how things were back in the day, and we loved answering their questions.

Thank you kindly once more, and please pass on our thanks to the Principal and others helping with the morning tour and morning tea!'

'I sure did have a lovely time and the morning tea was both unexpected and delicious'

'Many thanks to the school for allowing us the "look around". It was definitely a trip down memory lane with updates'
