Staff Development Day

Reminder that there will be a Staff Development Day tomorrow, Friday 26th September. (Pupil Free Day).

Teachers will be participating in Professional Learning sessions offsite related to Curriculum Reform and the English and Mathematics Syllabus.

School Uniform

Students are expected to return for Term 4 on Monday, 13th October, dressed in their full summer uniform. As part of our school’s sun safety policy, hats must be worn at all times during outdoor activities. Please note: No hat, no play, and students will not be permitted to participate in sport lessons without a hat.

For sports days, students must wear correct sports socks paired with black or white sports shoes. The school sport uniform is to be worn only on designated class sport or swimming days.

We also remind families that hairstyles should be neat and tidy, with long hair tied back at all times.

Kindergarten and Year One students will participate in an intensive five day program during Weeks Five and Six. Please view the Compass Event for the scheduled dates and times of the  program.

Parent helpers will be required for the Kindergarten - Year Two Swimming Program. Parent volunteers are required to have completed all of the Working with Children processes.

The school's annual swimming carnival will be held on Friday 28th November. Details related to this event will be shared early Term Four, via Compass.

Parents are requested to contact their child’s class teacher if, for any reason, their child cannot participate in this school-based Physical Education program.

Grandparents Day and  Learning Symposium

Parents and grandparents are invited to join us for a special celebration of Grandparents Day and our annual Learning Symposium on Friday, 7th November, commencing at 9:15am.

This meaningful event offers students the chance to honour the invaluable role grandparents play in their lives, while also showcasing their learning, creativity, and talents developed throughout the year. It’s a wonderful opportunity for families to come together, connect with the school community, and witness the inspiring work of our students.

Please view the invitation below. Further details outlining the agenda for the day will be shared in Term 4.
