From the Principal

Dear Parents and Friends,
Pegasus Pride in Action – Mini Garden Working Bee
Today, our Pegasus Family came together for a mini working bee to refresh and beautify the gardens at the front of the school. Parents generously gave their time to help weed the garden beds, replant them with fresh greenery, and spread new mulch. The results have already brightened the entrance to our school and will continue to be enjoyed by all who walk through our gates.
We were also fortunate to have the support of Mrs Alexander and our enthusiastic Student Green Team, who joined in during lunchtime. Their energy and teamwork showed what it means to take pride in our school and contribute to a welcoming and vibrant environment.
These efforts are more than just gardening, they reflect the spirit of community, teamwork, and pride that defines the Pegasus Family. A huge thank you to all the parents and students who rolled up their sleeves to make a difference. Together, we’ve created gardens that reflect our Pegasus Pride and show just how much we care about our school.
Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey
At Lysterfield Primary School, we value the voices of our Pegasus Family. Each year, the Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey gives you the chance to share your thoughts and help shape the future of our school.
Your feedback is important to us—it helps us understand how families experience our school, including the climate, student behaviour, and engagement in learning. By taking part, you’re helping us celebrate what’s working well and identify areas where we can continue to grow together.
The survey is conducted online, is completely confidential, and will take about 20 minutes to complete. It will be open until Friday 19 September 2025.
To complete the survey:
- Click on this link or copy and paste it into your browser: https://research.orima.com/parent
Select:
School Name: Lysterfield Primary School
Campus Name: Lysterfield Primary School
- Enter the school PIN: 140820
- Once you have finished, click the Submit button at the end. (Please note the survey will time out after 60 minutes of inactivity.)
We encourage as many families as possible to take part. Your input will make a real difference in continuing to build Pegasus Pride and ensuring Lysterfield PS is the best it can be for every child.
We wish Kelly Reynolds all the very best as she begins her leave to prepare for the arrival of her second child.
Have a great weekend,
Adam Wight, Principal
