Learn what opportunities our students have been taking on
Recently, our Year 10 students hit the road at the Charlton Driver Education Centre! The Driver Education program introduces students to driving, whilst under the guidance of qualified instructors. It is a wonderful opportunity to develop confidence behind the wheel and prepare for a lifetime of safe driving.
Year 8 students braved the weather from Monday to Wednesday last week whilst at Roses Gap for their year level camp. The theme of the camp, 'fears and friendships', provided students with the opportunity to get out of their comfort zone, support their peers and develop friendships through a number of fear-facing challenges and group building activities.
Well done to all students for their resilience and positivity as they endured the rain!
Stage 1 of our North Wing Refurbishment is complete, and our staff and students are making the most of our amazing new spaces! We are extremely proud of our College facilities!

We're super proud of the four St Brigid's College students who have recently been elected into the Horsham Youth Council! Ashling B, Tarsh G, Charlie K and Harper K attended the swearing-in ceremony with Mayor Ian Ross and Horsham Rural City Council CEO, Gail Gatt, and will work together over the next two years to represent youth in our community. Congratulations!
In Year 7 Science, students recently completed a unit exploring ecosystems. As a consolidation of their learning, students modelled their own ecosystem by creating these awesome terrariums! Students also created a poster displaying key concepts they learnt such as abiotic and biotic factors, impact of natural disasters habitat destruction, alongside explaining how species interact using food webs and trophic level pyramids.
Last week we held our first event in The Well, our new cafe space, as we welcomed students and families for the Father's Day Breakfast. It was a pleasure to come together and celebrate our College community. Thank you to the fathers, grandfathers, and role models, your presence and partnership are deeply valued, and we are grateful for the effort you made to attend!
Thank you to our staff who prepared and served delicious egg and bacon muffins and barista coffee! We look forward to welcoming families again in the future.
