End of Term 3
As we wrap up Term 3, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to our incredible Kilberry community – our dedicated staff, supportive families, and wonderful students – for making it such a successful and vibrant term.
It’s been a term full of learning, achievement, and celebration. One of the highlights was our school production, which brought together creativity, confidence, and collaboration. Students also enjoyed excursions to local secondary schools to watch their musical production – a valuable and inspiring experience.
Academically, we have plenty to be proud of. Our NAPLAN results were outstanding, showing the strength of our teaching and the commitment of our students. Our ATOSS (Attitudes to School Survey) results reflected a highly engaged and positive student body, while preliminary Staff Opinion Survey results indicate a strong and supportive working environment. These results are a true testament to the efforts of everyone in our school community.
We also had a variety of events that brought joy and connection to our days – including Footy Day, Book Week, and Bully No Way Day, each promoting important messages and bringing fun and unity to our school.
During the upcoming school holidays, we’ll be making several exciting improvements to our school environment:
High fences will be installed around the perimeter to increase safety and security.
The B Block corridor carpet will be replaced to refresh our learning spaces.
Playgrounds will be topped up with mulch to keep them safe and inviting.
And the staffroom will receive a small refresh, giving our staff a cleaner, more comfortable space to enjoy.
Thank you once again to our staff for your dedication, and to our families for your ongoing support. It’s been a term of hard work, celebration, and success.
We wish everyone a restful and safe holiday break, and look forward to welcoming you back for a fantastic Term 4!
Warm regards,
Aisha Shariat
