Hello Foundation Families!

We had a fun last week in Foundation with many fun days including Footy/Sport Day, Disco Day and we even made our own Wombat Stew Day to celebrate a book we had been focusing on. 

It was impressive to see the students use their strength of Teamwork and perseverance throughout Footy/Sport Day. Students showcased their creativity when designing their own Wombat Stew recipies, including many interesting ingredients such as mud, bugs, donuts and leaves. 

Thank-you to all the families that attended our Guided Inquiry Showcase 'Are We There Yet?'.  Students had explored numerous famous locations around Australia, idenitfying their natural and manmade features. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to present their diaorama that they made with their Year 5 Buddy.

Reminders

Hats! As it is now spring and the UV is on the rise, please make sure students have clearly named hats for next week.

Past in Our Class Incursion - Thursday 16/10 Students will experience what school was like in the 1800s. Students are encouraged to dress up in olden day clothes to enhance the experience.
