Week 9 - End of Term Wrap-up!
What an amazing way to finish off the term! Week 9 at OSHClub was packed with delicious food, creative projects, and lots of fun activities to celebrate the end of term together. At Breakfast Club, we kept mornings bright and tasty with pizza toasties, egg-in-a-hole in all sorts of fun shapes, colourful rainbow and tie-dye waffles, crunchy yoghurt cones, and golden hashbrowns. In the afternoons, our Snack Squad kept everyone full of energy with sushi bowls, crackers with veggie sticks, dip and cheese cubes, bowls of spaghetti, hearty burrito bowls, and our very own homemade curry puffs!
In Cooking Club this week, the children enjoyed both sweet and adventurous experiments, making rice krispie treats, getting creative with pancake art, mixing up fresh homemade lemonade, and even baking an ice cream bread loaf from scratch! It was the perfect mix of fun and flavour.
Our creative activities gave everyone a chance to explore their imagination, with watercolouring, air-dry clay, wooden postcards, beaded AFL keychains, mini canvas painting, sand art, chalk and guided drawing. Meanwhile, our physical activities kept everyone moving with the web, oval group games, badminton, volleyball, skipping, silent ball, and the highlight of the week: designing a giant 100-step hopscotch in chalk outside!
It’s been such a fantastic term full of laughter, learning, and creativity. We’re so proud of everything the children have achieved and the fun we’ve shared together. Thank you to all our families for your support this term, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for more adventures next term and we are excited to hopefully see you at our Holiday Program!
Extended Afternoon
There is an Extended Afternoon session on Friday 19 September 2025.
We will be open from 2.30pm to 6.00pm for any families who want to book in.
To book, log in to your Parent Portal and select the Extended Afternoon booking type.
Important to Note:
- The session fee is $44.10 (before any applicable Child Care Subsidy).
- Please note that any pre-existing Stay and Play (afternoon) session bookings have been automatically transferred to the updated Extended Afternoon session for this date.

Please note: When booking via the Kidsoft portal, surcharges for special experience days (Excursions, Special Events, and Make & Take Days) may not yet be visible. You can still proceed with your booking for these days on Kidsoft - your child will be booked into the special experience, and the applicable surcharge will be automatically added once the Kidsoft system is updated.

Family Suggestions
At OSHClub, we deeply value our families and community and would love to incorporate more family voices into our program. Whether it's a cherished family recipe we can cook together, a creative art activity, or any other idea, we would greatly appreciate your input!
Feel free to share your suggestions in our journal, located in the parent sign-in area, and we’ll do our best to bring them to life. Your contributions help make our program even more special!
Drop off/Pick up
Parents/ guardians are required to sign children in for Rise and Shine sessions and sign children out of Stay and Play sessions using the service iPad. Please ensure you are coming to the room when dropping your children to Rise then Shine or holiday program. Please do not let them walk by themselves.
Enrolling Your Child

Please note: CRN numbers and all birth dates must be entered correctly if you wish to claim the Child Care Subsidy. CCS applications are submitted automatically to Centrelink when new enrolments are actioned.
Bookings
Online bookings for Rise then Shine and Stay and Play sessions close 24 hours in advance. Online bookings for the Holiday Program and Curriculum Days close 5 days in advance.
If online bookings have closed, and you would like to make or cancel a booking, please SMS the program phone on 0427 144 945.
Cancellation of Bookings
IMPORTANT: If your child is booked in for an afternoon Stay and Play session and that booking is no longer required, please cancel the booking on the iParent Portal. If you are cancelling on the day, please contact us on the program phone before 3:15pm.
We are responsible for all children booked into our care. If a child does not arrive after school care when booked in to attend, we will need to confirm the whereabouts of the child by contacting parents/guardians and emergency contacts. If we cannot successfully do this, it then becomes a missing child incident.
As you can imagine, this can be very stressful!
Thanks for your cooperation by notifying us of any Stay and Play absences.
