Director of Learning & Teaching

Benjamin White

As we wrap up another action-packed term, I wanted to share some highlights and important info with you all. It’s been a whirlwind of teaching, learning, camps, excursions, incursions, NAPLAN, exams, assignments, SACs, and tests! All students have risen to the challenge and conquered the term!

πŸ“βœ¨ 7-11 Exams: Congratulations to all students in Year 7-11 on completing your exams. Your hard work and dedication are commendable.

πŸ“…πŸ“š The General Achievement Test: On Tuesday, all Unit 3&4 students in Years 11 and 12 completed the GAT. This is a significant accomplishment. The GAT plays an important role in the VCE assessment process, providing a valuable snapshot of your skills across various disciplines and serves as an important quality assurance tool for the VCAA.

πŸ“–πŸ’ͺ Year 12 Exams: Best wishes to our Year 12 students for the upcoming exams next week. Remember, these exams are an excellent opportunity to practice for the final exams in October. Give it your all and use this experience to refine your study techniques.

πŸŽ‰πŸ“š Term-Wrap Up: Congratulations to all teachers and students on completing another productive term of learning and teaching. Your efforts and progress are recognised and appreciated.

β³πŸŽ“ Class of 2024 Countdown: Year 12s, the clock is ticking! There are about 85 school days left until your final graduation assembly. Make each day count!

As we head into the holidays, I wish you all a safe and restful break. Even though Jack Frost has well and truly arrived, I hope you all find time to relax over the break, or even brave the chill for some winter adventures. To those who are escaping the cold for warmer climes: safe travel. Whether you’re staying home or hitting the road, don’t forget to take a moment to appreciate the world around you.

See you all refreshed and ready for another exciting term of learning.
