Year One/Two News 

Can we persuade you?

The Millie Building have spent the last 3 weeks learning about persuasive texts. They have had the opportunity to respond to a range of prompts and argue their ideas for or against. Students have enjoyed coming up with arguments for topics including: 

• Should we get trampolines at school?
• Should we get a class pet?
• What the best season is and why?
• Dogs are the best pet. 

It has been great to see the students convince the teachers of their ideas! 

We wonder if the 1/2 students can convince you…
