Red group have been gathering in our yarning circle to say our Acknowledgement of Country together. We have been listening to the sounds that we can hear around us.  Last week some Magpies were talking to one another in the trees near the back gate.  We learnt that the Wadawurrung name for Magpie is Parrwang.

In the Resilience Project our focus has been about developing an understanding of emotional literacy.  We have been talking about strategies that we can use to calm our bodies and minds including, taking a deep breath, patting our pet dog or having a lie down. 

Red group are looking forward to our Pyjama day next week in celebration of the end of term and also to help raise money for our local Fire Brigade.
