From our Parents Commitee

              Africa / Dom Tom Day – Thank-You

Dear CJC Community,

Thank you for helping and being part of Africa Day!  We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all of the amazing children who shared their participation and made Africa Day a resounding success. We also want to extend our gratitude to the lovely parents who volunteered their time, effort and support.

A big thank you to Principal Chris Chant and Megan Barclay for going above and beyond and making this event happen. EFM for their collaboration and funding, David Smile elevated the party to the next level by bringing the vibrant African Vibe.   Thank you to Pascale Porquier-Fedele’s team for their amazing face painting. Arnaud Ramdoo and TiFi Dezil for sharing their Cultural Heritage through the mesmerising Sega Dance.

A special shout-out goes to The Regis Brighton for their generous equipment donation of the bain-marie, which facilitated the delicious Mauritian Sweet and Dhal Puri provided by the best Mauritian food in Australia, Maussiefood Food Resto.

To the wonderful CJC Community, a big THANK YOU! Without your participation, collaboration, and dedication, events like this would not be possible to achieve. Keep up the amazing work, and I wish you all a fantastic weekend.

Clarel Philibert & Pascale Porquier-Fedele – Africa Day Coordinators.

We also hope that our families enjoy celebrating Fête de la Musique this afternoon. Thanks you to Martine Inge & Marine Ors for envisaging and coordinating this event, as well as our excellent team of crepe makers, the Apparants Band, performers, and volunteers. All money raised will be used to upgrade the senior playground.
