ICT Update – Water Damage can be avoided!
G’day CJC Community!
ICT would like to gently remind that all liquids, water bottles, coffees or otherwise should be kept separate and well away from laptops and electronic devices.
We have observed dozens of laptops, being assessed by technicians who established that many of the laptops and devices that have been damaged have been accidental, and therefore, preventable and avoidable!
A simple way of doing this it to keep drinks in the kitchen or on another table / desk to where the laptops are being used or at the workstation.
Thank you!

Invitation to take part to the Student Climate Survey
The department invites students in years 4 to 12 to take part in our Student Climate Survey.
We will use survey findings to help us understand what students think and know about climate change, and how they prefer to learn about it.
This will help us select teaching and learning resources. It will also ensure student voices shape the way students learn about climate change, its impacts, and potential solutions that will help us meet the challenges of the future.
We are not asking schools to administer the optional survey, but to share it. Local councils and youth organisations are also sharing the survey.
How to share the survey
If you want to promote the survey, you can use this template content to share information through your school communication channels with parents and carers of years 4 to 12 students.
Please note, students who choose to take part will need parent or carer consent to do so.
The survey closes at 5 pm on Friday 20 September 2024.
