We are now mid-year and first semester is over. The crisp mornings and beautiful weather are promising for an amazing winter holiday over the next two weeks.

Thank you to our parents and carers for your continued support. We have such a rich learning environment at The Gap SHS and it’s such a pleasure and a privilege to work with young people every day. Take some time over the next two weeks to download, check in and listen to your young ones, as this time flies and soon they will be out in the workforce! (I know, it happened to me)

Our student leaders have now begun the transition period and we have completed the rigorous selection process. A leadership model which follows the financial year gives the outgoing captains an opportunity to mentor their counterparts while keeping a firm eye on the main business of school, their academic studies.

Term 3 is a significant one for most students, as planning begins for the following year with regard to subject selections. Please start tuning in to notices and announcements about subject selection information, evenings and materials on our school website.
