Grade Three

Integrated

Our grade three students completed their creativity rotations earlier in the term. Trying out some new and different skills, from beatboxing to catapault-building! Recently the students have been looking at how technology has changed our lives and the inventors who have made it happen.

English

After completing and disposing of our poor old, creepy (and in some cases mouldy) carrots, the students are looking into how to improve our comprehension skills. Following on from our integrated topic, the students are continuing with the theme of famous inventors. 

Mathematics

In Mathematics we have been very busy. We’ve looked at time, taken our multiplication and division skills to the next level and are now looking back at money and counting change - hopefully joining in on a few trips to the grocery store to help balance the budget!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for an amazing year. The students have been a delightful cohort to teach and each and every one of them will be missed. We wish everyone all the best for the rest of this year and in Grade 4.
