RE News

As I prepare to move to St Thomas More next year, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all our families. It has been a true blessing to serve as Religious Education Coordinator in this community, walking alongside you in nurturing the faith of our students.
Over the past three years, I have greatly enjoyed working with your children, our incredible staff, and beautiful families. It has been a privilege to watch your children grow in faith, knowledge, and confidence. I can honestly say I have learnt more from them than they will ever know, and those lessons will stay with me as I continue my journey.
The Christmas season reminds us of God’s love made visible in the gift of His Son. May the joy of Christ’s birth fill your homes with peace and hope, and may His light continue to guide the St Patrick's school community in the years ahead.
I have always believed that we should never say goodbye, but rather see you soon. With best wishes for a holy and joy-filled Christmas, I thank you once again for the privilege of working alongside you all here at St Pat's.
Love
Mrs Moss

Family Educator News
Dear All,
As we come to the end of the year, I would like to sincerely thank you for the incredible support you have shown Family Educator initiatives this year. Whether through Nano’s Lanterns, the Caritas Appeal, Vinnies appeals, Family Masses, or the many other opportunities to serve, your generosity and commitment are greatly appreciated.
I am always astounded by how generous and caring this community is. Your support not only makes a practical difference but also helps nurture compassion, faith, and service in our children.
As we approach Christmas, I hope you and your families enjoy a blessed and peaceful time together. During this season, I invite you to hold in prayer the victims, their families, the injured, and the first responders impacted by the violent attack in Bondi on Sunday. Please also remember in your prayers those affected by war and violence throughout the world, as well as those in our own community who are lonely, sick, or struggling.
May we always trust in God’s promise that “the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5).
Finally, I would like to wish all of our Year 6 students and their families every blessing as you begin the next chapter in high school next year. Please know that you are always warmly welcome to return and join us for our monthly Family Masses at any time.
Wishing you a truly wonderful Christmas. May the break be a time of rest and joy.
With gratitude and blessings,
Ann Woodhouse, Family Educator
