Student Reports
Teachers are currently busy writing the Semester 2 student reports.
These reports give families a clear picture of how each child is progressing in English, Mathematics, Specialist subjects, and in their personal and social development. They highlight areas of strength and outline where further growth is expected.
All Victorian government schools use a five-point rating scale to show how students are progressing against the expected standards for their year level. A rating of ‘C’ means your child is achieving exactly what is expected for their year level.
This scale does not compare students to one another. Instead, it shows how each child is tracking against the Victorian Curriculum standards.
Throughout the semester, teachers collect a variety of evidence—including work samples, assessments, observations, and learning conversations—to build a full picture of each child’s learning. Writing reports is a careful and thoughtful process, and teachers aim to share each student’s progress clearly and meaningfully.
Families will be able to access reports on Sentral during the final week of term. We encourage you to read the report together with your child and celebrate their hard work, improvement, and achievements throughout the semester.
