Thank You to our Volunteers

We treasure the strong sense of community at Pilgrim School between students, families and staff. We are truly grateful for the many ways our volunteers have contributed throughout 2025, knowing that when we work together our children flourish.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the life of the school this year – those who have assisted in classrooms, excursions, camps, P&F events and fundraisers, sausage sizzles, New Families’ Dinner, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, Graduation, washed linen, covered books, or helped in countless other practical ways. Pilgrim School is richer because of your generosity, time and care.

Parents and Friends

Class Liaisons in 2026

As we are nearly at the end of the year, it is time to start thinking about Parents and Friends in 2026!

We are changing the structure for our P&F liaisons to match our classes, and are looking for at least two to four liaisons for each composite grouping for Foundation to Year 5/6. The main role of class liaisons is to promote community by welcoming new families, organising at least one social event during the year, and overseeing the following activities:

Foundation – School Holiday Play; Term 3 BBQ

Year 1/2 – Term 1 BBQ; Father's Day Stall

Year 3/4 – Pancake Day; Mother's Day Stall

Year 5/6 – Graduation Supper (Year 5 liaisons lead); Graduation Decoration and Memento (Year 6 liaisons lead)

Our Marion Family Swim Day, New Families' Dinner and End of Year Family Picnic will become activities the whole school is asked to help with.

If you are interested in being a Class Liaison in 2026, we would love to hear from you. If you have any questions about the role, please speak to me or your current Class Liaison.
