Advent Week One: Prayer of Hope

Loving God,

 As we light the first candle of Advent, we welcome the gift of hope. 

Help us open our hearts to Your light, even when life feels uncertain or heavy. 

Remind us that Your promises are steady, Your love is sure, 

and Your presence is always near.

Let this week be a time of quiet trust— 

a time to look forward with courage, 

to believe in new beginnings, 

and to let hope grow in us and around us.

Walk with us, guide us, and brighten our days 

as we prepare our hearts for the coming of Jesus.
