Exciting Opportunity:

Japanese Exchange Program 2026/27!

We are thrilled to announce our Japanese Exchange Program in 2026/27, a unique and enriching opportunity for students to immerse themselves in Japanese language, culture, and daily life.

This long-standing partnership with our sister school Sundai Kofu in Japan offers students a chance to:

  • Live with a host family and experience authentic Japanese hospitality.
  • Attend school in Japan, participating in classes and cultural activities.
  • Explore historical and modern Japan, from temples and shrines to bustling cityscapes.
  • Strengthen language skills through

    real-world practice and interaction.

Students will be matched with a partner from Sundai Kofu and stay with their host family for the duration of their time in Japan.

Endeavour students will travel to Japan in November 2026 and return in January 2027, approximately two months in duration.

Their Japanese exchange partner will then visit Australia and stay with you and your family from approximately July to September 2027, also an approximately two month exchange.

Who Can Apply?

The program is open to students in Years 9–11 who are currently studying Japanese.

We are looking for enthusiastic, respectful, and curious individuals who are eager to broaden their horizons.

Expressions of Interest

To express interest, students are encouraged to contact Herr Kropf at: alex.kropf@endeavour.sa.edu.au to receive an application form.

This needs to be completed and returned by Friday, 14 November 2025 (end of Week 5).

This is more than just a trip, it’s a life-changing experience that fosters global citizenship, intercultural understanding, and lifelong friendships.

For further information, please contact

Herr Kropf, Acting Head of Languages, or speak with your Japanese teacher.

Music Come and Try Workshop: Next Phase

Gallery Image

On Wednesday 15 October, the Music faculty hosted a 'Come and Try' Music Workshop at the College. Year 7 students for 2026 were given the opportunity to come along to hear about music at Endeavour, meet our fantastic instrumental tutors and try the large selection of instruments we have available to learn at the College.

Thank you to all the families who attended the evening. We hope that your child had a great time learning about what it is like to study music at Endeavour and trying all the different instruments.

We will be in touch with you within the next couple of weeks with further information on your child’s instrument preferences and information on how to enrol in lessons for 2026.

For those families who were unable to attend the evening, it is not too late to choose an instrument. If your child would like to play an instrument or change their subject choice to Music Specialist, please contact us as soon as possible.

If your child already learns an instrument or wishes to learn and has not already selected Music Specialist for 2026, please contact the Music Assistant at nicole.molloy@endeavour.sa.edu.au to discuss options.

Students in Year 8-12 are also welcome to enrol in instrumental lessons, regardless of their subject selection.

We have several vacancies, particularly in our wind and brass program.

We currently offer 50% subsidy on fees and hire for Year 7 students learning the following instruments: flute, clarinet, alto and tenor saxophone, trumpet and trombone.

Library End of Year Returns Process

As the end of the year approaches we would like to remind families about our billing system for lost or damaged library items.

  • Students will receive a list of current loans by email followed by a physical copy handed out in Care Group.
  • A reminder email will be sent to parents through TASS for any outstanding loans.
  • One week is given for these items to be returned.
  • If items are not returned in this time, billing will occur through the Finance Department, and a $5 administration fee will be added to your account.
  • For items returned after billing, amounts paid will be refunded to all open accounts with the school. Please note that the $5 administration fee is non-refundable.

Please note the following final return dates:

Year 12: Friday 12 November

(Wednesday Week 5, Term 4)

Year 10/11: Wednesday 3 December (Wednesday Week 8, Term 4)

Year 7/8/9: Tuesday 9 December

(Tuesday Week 9, Term 4)

Students will receive reminders about their current loans but are encouraged to keep their textbooks for exam revision. No fees will be charged for books returned by the due dates listed above.

Reminder emails will begin early Term 4 for senior students, with middle years students to receive reminder notices later in the term.

Reminder about Uniform Requirements for 2026

Dear Families,

As we near the end of the year and begin planning for next year’s uniforms, the following information is provided to assist with your purchasing decisions.

  • Year 9s and 12s may choose to wear blazers without yellow trim but can have their blazer retrofitted for a small additional cost – this can be organised through the Uniform Shop.
  • Any new blazers sold from the Uniform Shop will have yellow trim.
  • Any students using second-hand blazers should have their blazer retrofitted with yellow trim.
  • Students across all year levels may still wear either the old or new PE uniform, but if purchasing new items, only the new uniform design will be sold (Year 7 and 8 should already be in the new uniform unless using a second-hand item from a sibling).
  • By 2027, all students should have transitioned to the new PE uniform, and all students will have yellow trim on their blazers.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation as we work together to ensure consistency in our uniform expectations.
