Wellbeing Update

Term 4 has kicked off with a busy and exciting start for the Wellbeing Team, with several important programs already underway.
Bunji Program
Our first week of the Bunji program with Year 7 and 8 students has been a fantastic beginning! We were truly impressed by the students' level of participation, respect, and courage throughout the sessions.
A standout moment was our circle time check-ins and check-outs, where students engaged thoughtfully and shared openly. Their connection to the Zones of Regulation and ability to reflect on their emotional states showed great self-awareness.
What really shone through was how strongly students embodied our school values of respect and commitment. They supported one another and approached new learning experiences with maturity and bravery.
Well done to all involved, we’re off to a great start!
New Programs Launched!
We’re excited to introduce two new Personal Development Programs—one for girls and one for boys—targeted at selected Year 9 students. These programs aim to help students strengthen their sense of identity, develop emotional intelligence, and build resilience as they navigate the teenage years.
Lara Men’s Shed Mentoring Program
Students involved in this unique mentoring program are engaging in hands on skill sharing, creative building projects, and meaningful intergenerational connections with community mentors.
Breakfast Club
Breakfast Club continues to be a hit! Students are enjoying nutritious food and great music in a welcoming, social environment each morning.
We’re proud of the strong start to the term and look forward to supporting our students’ wellbeing through these valuable initiatives.
