The Best Part of Me
This week, our Year 2 students took part in a reflective activity called “The Best Part of Me.” Students spent time thinking carefully about what makes them special and the qualities they value in themselves. Each child selected one feature, perhaps their hands for helping, their legs for running, or their eyes for noticing beautiful things. They wrote a short piece explaining why it is meaningful to them. The final display is a celebration of individuality and the positive way our students see themselves and their place in the world.
Stewards of Creation
Our Year 1 students have been exploring a range of creation stories and learning about the beauty and wonder of the world around them. Through class discussions and storytelling, the children have been thinking about the important role we each play as caretakers of God’s creation. They identified simple, meaningful actions they can take in their daily lives, such as reducing waste, caring for plants and animals, saving water and keeping our environment clean. Their reflections show a growing sense of responsibility and gratitude, as they learn what it means to be thoughtful stewards of creation.
