Transition Ambassadors

We had a fantastic first meeting with the Transition Ambassadors on Tuesday 11th November and the students are ready and excited to start off their role.  All the Year 1-6 Transition Ambassadors have received an A4 envelope to take back to their classrooms for collecting questions about the next year level up.  Foundation team - Kim will provide you with an envelope for your students.

Could all Foundation- Year 5 teachers please allow some time within the next week for your students to write down some questions they have about the next year level.  Younger years may wish to do this as a whole class brainstorm if easier.  The Transition Ambassadors will then collect the questions in the A4 envelope and use them to help with creation of a powerpoint presentation about their year level.  Students will then bring the envelopes back to the next Transition Ambassador meeting.

Transition Ambassador meetings will happen every Tuesday lunchtime in Kerryn's classroom from Week 7-9.  One iPad per year level will be needed to create the presentation so we have asked all students from an 'A' class (i.e. 1A, 2A, 3A etc) to please bring an iPad to the meetings.

Junior Campus - Au revoir Emme's Morning Tea

Please join us for a special morning tea to celebrate Emme’s final day with us at CPS: Friday 14 November – Junior Campus at 11:00am - If you wish, you are welcome to bring a plate to share!

Emme has been working with our students over the past few months as part of her Art Therapy placement. We have been incredibly fortunate to have her as part of our team. She quickly embraced our school culture and built meaningful connections with our students.

We sincerely thank Emme for her wonderful contribution and wish her all the very best as she continues her studies!
