Vaping Co- Design Project

Students from Years 7–10, both current and aspiring leaders, recently had the opportunity to take part in a Vaping Co-Design Project. This initiative was run in collaboration with GVH, Primary Care Connect, Monique Hillenaar Consulting, and Greater Shepparton City Council.
The workshop, held over a double period, focused on:
- The history of smoking and vaping
- Current knowledge about vaping
The impacts on individuals and communities
After the learning session, students worked in small groups to share ideas and contribute to a collective project. Each group presented their findings to the wider cohort, sparking thoughtful discussion and collaboration.
With the first workshop now complete, students are eagerly anticipating the next session in a fortnight. This upcoming workshop will provide an opportunity to review ideas and begin planning community projects aimed at supporting the Greater Shepparton region in addressing vaping.
👏 A heartfelt thank you to GVH, Greater Shepparton City Council, Primary Care Connect, and Monique Hillenaar Consulting for partnering with our school on this valuable and impactful project.
