7B have been using nib pens and ink to create their Lost Things. 

The Lost Things are inspired by the picture story book of the same title by Shaun Tan.

These Lost Things will also be incorporated into a collage and finally they will create their Lost Thing as a three dimensional clay sculpture.

Pre-Service Teachers

We are lucky to have three Pre-Service Teachers spending time at our school. They started on Monday and have quickly settled in to the routine. Pictured here, is Mrs McKinlay engaging with Year 8 English for some illustrated text group work.

Personal Development Skills

As part of our Personal Development Skills class Josiah and I worked together to try and find names of people who have served in Defence. The idea was to create a design for a visual honour roll that could be erected in our town, with the potential for identifying local heroes.  

It involved research and organisation, and we had to work together to build on each other's work. Pictured below is an example of what it could look like.
