Year 10 Auto

Year 9 auto have been investigating power sources this semester to complete the curriculum outcomes. This involved researching a number of types of power sources to gain an understanding of what it takes to generate power with a focus on environmental advantages and disadvantages. They developed their practical skills by making a small windmill and got to design their own tail fin. This was the Major Project task which also incorporated a portfolio detailing the process of manufacturing the project.

Hospitality Term 4 2025

This term our Hospitality students have been busy completing their compulsory work placement.   We would like to thank the RSM, Macintyre Hot Bake and Ross Hill Store for generously hosting our students.

Students have also been busy in the Trade Training Centre Kitchen.  Some of the dishes we have cooked so far include: Crème Caramel, Pizza, Spaghetti Bolognaise and Garlic Bread, Marinated Chicken Wings and Vegetable stock just to name a few.  Each dish is designed to develop the students skills and expose them to different types of equipment used within the Hospitality industry, such as, Cryovac machine, Sous Vide and Combi Oven.  Dishes are also designed to build presentation, preservation and packaging skills.
