Get involved in our Walkathon!
Our much-loved SKiPPS Walkathon is back this Monday 17 November, from 2:00–3:00 pm in the park beside the school. This is one of the most energetic and enjoyable events on our school calendar: a full hour of walking, running, scooting and riding as our students get active, have fun, and raise vital funds for our school.
Every student will take part as part of our Physical Education program, completing as many laps as they can in one hour.
Years 3–6: may walk, jog, ride a bike or scooter (helmets required!)
The oval course will be safe, well supervised and full of cheering families. There will be fresh fruit for refuelling and plenty of smiles as we count the laps.

This year’s Walkathon aims to raise funds for new iPads and notebooks across our classrooms, ensuring every student has access to the technology they need for learning.
We’re encouraging every family to get behind their child’s class by donating or sharing our fundraising link with friends and relatives. Donations are tax-deductible, and every dollar makes a difference.

Each class has its own MyCause page, and there are two prizes up for grabs: one for the class that raises the most money and one for the class that completes the most laps.
When you make a donation, you can even leave a message to cheer on your child’s class.
We need to thank McGrath St Kilda and Woolworths Metro for their support for this event.
To make the day run smoothly, we need a strong team of parent and carer volunteers to act as marshals and wristband markers. At the moment, we still have 34 volunteer spots to fill, and we’d love your help.
If you’re available on Monday afternoon, please sign up using the link below. It’s a great way to be part of the action and support our students as they give their all.

Please ensure your child comes prepared on Monday:
Let’s make this year’s SKiPPS Walkathon our biggest and most successful yet, full of energy, community spirit and generous fundraising to keep our classrooms tech-ready for the years ahead!.
